الملخص:
تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة كيف يمكن للسياحة المحلية أن تساعد في الحد من الفقر في العراق. وبالرغم من أهمية التوسع في السياحة ، إلا أن هذه البحث زعم أن ذلك لن يكون كافياً لحل مشكلة الفقر بمفردها. فلا ينبغي أن تذهب فوائد السياحة إلى الأثرياء فحسب، بل ينبغي أن تتدفق إلى جميع أفراد المجتمع، وخاصة الفقراء. كما أن أسباب الفقر لا تزال غير مفهومة، ولا سيما الدور الذي تلعبه تصرفات الفقراء في إدامة وضعهم. وعندما يتم اتخاذ التدابير الصحيحة، كذلك يعد العراق، وهي دولة نامية ذات تاريخ غني، سوف تتمتع بمستقبل عظيم، وتشكل صناعة السياحة أحد المجالات التي تتمتع بإمكانات كبيرة للبلاد لتوليد فرص العمل ومساعدة الاقتصادات ، ومن الممكن أن تكون السياحة المستدامة أداة فعّالة في مكافحة الفقر، ومن الممكن توزيع فوائد السياحة بشكل أكبر والوصول إلى الأشخاص الذين هم في أمس الحاجة إليها من خلال استراتيجيات مثل السياحة المؤيدة للفقراء، والسياحة المجتمعية. وبالرغم أنها لا يزال العراق دولة نامية في الوقت الحاضر، إلا أنها تتمتع بتاريخ غني، ومع تنفيذ الإصلاحات المناسبة، فإنها سوف تتمتع بمستقبل مشرق.
إن السياحة قادرة على مساعدة الفقراء من خلال الترويج للأنشطة التي تقلل من تأثيرها على البيئة. وقد بحثت الدراسة في الفوائد المحتملة للسياحة بالنسبة للفقراء، فضلاً عن الحواجز التي تمنع تحقيق هذه الفوائد بالكامل. إن فرص التدريب والتعليم، ومساعدة الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة الحجم، وتشجيع المشاريع وريادة الأعمال ليست سوى عدد قليل من الطرق التي قد تساعد بها السياحة المستدامة في تنمية المجتمع، كما يتم التركيز على السياسات الحكومية، والمشاركة، والالتزام، وحتى التركيز الفردي أيضًا.

Abstract:
The study aims to investigate how domestic tourism can contribute to poverty reduction in Iraq. Despite the importance of expanding tourism, this research argues that it will not be sufficient to solve poverty alone. The benefits of tourism should not only accrue to the wealthy but also flow to all members of society, especially the most vulnerable, such as the poor. The causes of poverty remain poorly understood, particularly the role that the actions of the poor play in perpetuating their situation. With the proper measures in place, Iraq, a developing country with a rich history, has a great future. The tourism industry is one area with great potential for the government to generate jobs and boost its economy. Sustainable tourism can be an effective tool in combating poverty. The benefits of tourism can be further distributed and reach those most in need through strategies such as pro-poor tourism and community-based tourism. Although Iraq remains a developing country, it boasts a rich history, and with the implementation of appropriate reforms, it has a promising future. Tourism can help people experiencing poverty by promoting activities that minimize their environmental impact. The study examined the potential benefits of tourism for people experiencing poverty, as well as the barriers that prevent these benefits from being fully realized. Training and educational opportunities, assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the promotion of enterprise and entrepreneurship are just a few ways sustainable tourism can support community development. It also focuses on government policies, engagement, commitment, and even individual focus.
